    so we got all of our chicks at Rural King (we bought 16-wanting only pullets-and so far 3 have been roosters) and today I noticed one of my Easter Eggers was looking more like a roo. Here’s a pic. Thanks for your help.

    I have 4 buff orpingtons and 3 australorps-So far I only have 4 consistently laying. It seemed like it took forever for them to start!!!

    Central Ohio 3 roosters need a new home

    I am located in central Ohio. I have 3 roosters I need to re-home. I wasn’t planning on having roosters. I purchased chicks from rural king and out of 10-I got 3 roosters. I have two Australorp Roosters and 1 Buff Orpington Rooster.

    So one of my Easter Egger pullets got pecked pretty bad. Before I found you good people, I googled a solution to try to help her. I used dawn dish soap and warm water to bathe her and after the wound was clean, applied neosporin(non pain relief) liberally for a week. We kept her seperate from...

    So we built our coop in April about a month after we got our chicks! After learning more and more, we have give the ladies and gents(surprise gents) some upgrades!!! Let me know what you think!! The dust bath is a hit!!!
