My word! I was so worried they were cold. They could have gone out weeks ago. They’re officially in their new residence tonight and I think they’re loving the room!
That’s hysterical! It’s true, though! I broke my ankle and needed surgery over the Summer, and I’d just planted my garden— guess who’s had to tend to it?? (And discovered he loved it, btw) yep! I guess he truly is my farm hand!
I’m telling you, I stand there and just stare at them like a creeper. Lol! Even while in the brooder, I just go sit with them and watch. Who knew it would be so therapeutic!!
Thank you. I was so dang proud of him, he loved doing it. He wasn’t sold on getting chickens at all, but when I “challenged” him to make this, he went straight to work. Every day for two weeks after work and every weekend he was working on it. I adore that coop! Everybody wins!
