Sick chicken? Followed by death in 24 hours

About a day and a half ago our chickens suffered a hawk attack. As far as we know, the hawk didn't make contact with any, but we couldn't find one of our welsummers after the attack until dark when we found her in the coop. The next day, she was slow and lethargic, but still following the others...

It might be a good idea. Like I said, we still aren't 100% sure what it was, but at least it is gone now.

Hopefully you've resolved your issue, but either way I thought I'd share our roosters state now, two weeks later. After having used vetrx in his mouth and also around his eye, there wasn't a noticeable difference. 1 week into the ordeal, we received rooster booster feed which we mixed with some...

Not to say it's the same situation, but the yellow dot on our roosters eye has hardly changed shape in the last week. It seems more like a stye than anything else. We tried to wipe it with a qtip (thank God he is a friendly bird) but it seemed very hard, and solidly attached. We've still been...

The yellow dot looks like it could be similar, although it's on the back end of her eye, as opposed to our roosters being on his 3rd eyelid. Have you noticed any swelling, or has she been scratching it?

    Eye infection or worm?

Today we took a good look at the eye issues one of our roosters has been having. We haven't found a vet nearby, but a local feed store looked at the picture and suggested it could be an eyeworm. The rooster was going about business as usual, trying to mate the hens, squawking when hawks went by...

Here is a shot of our Wyandotte rooster this AM. Maybe it's similar. Feed shop gave us meds for eyeworm, but we aren't convinced yet. It is attached to his 3rd eyelid, and other than it blocking his vision, he doesn't seem too bothered. Maybe this will help identify yours as well.
