    Help identify my chicks.

Can anyone help identify these chicks. Me and my partner got them from a local breeder a few hours away but I'm not so sure he's right about what breeds he grabbed for us. So we have six in total. I know the one with the hair is a sliver laced polish other than that I'm not sure. Also the one...

EE Pullet or Cockerel? 7 weeks

Huge combs and growing wattles at such a young age. Most of my hens only start to get red in the face a grow wattles when they get ready to lay their eggs. Which is around 18-24 weeks old.

    Standard Cochins, Pullets or Cockerels?

I think they are both pullets. I have cochins. I don't see any saddle feathers on either chicken?

    Very loud and consistant chirping?

If you've checked everything else then I'd say the chick is lonely. If your not willing to put in a friend with it or take the chick everywhere with you, then I would recommend a mirror and a tiny stuffed animal.

Now that they are 4 weeks old they look very different. I think they might be different genders or both roos I'm not sure. Both are super...

    These two have me stumped

Both pullets. RIR's are known for their huge combs and wattles even on the girls. Here is an example my 1 year old RIR hen with large wattles and comb

    Lost little chick?

A family found a stray chick while riding bikes with their kids. Just a few blocks away from my house, I live in the suburbs. They went door to door asking the people who they knew had chickens if they were missing a chick. I have a small flock of my own. I offered to take the chick since I had...
