    Aiolos has something wrong! Pox?

That wouldn't account for the blisters though. Sure the scabs, but not the literal pox.

    Aiolos has something wrong! Pox?

I live next to a couple of ponds. I can't do anything about the mosquitoes. :'( he was alone in the tractor because we have two roos. The tractor has hardware cloth on it, so he couldn't have been pecked to the best of my knowledge. Thank you for your help.

    Aiolos has something wrong! Pox?

My bird, Aiolos, is being exposed to his new flockmates (who are still young and have not been named yet). Those flockmates were quarantined for over two months. I thought it was safe to start introduction, especially since the new hens have no symptoms. They're also still eating medicated...

    I am unsure of breed/gender.

This baby was picked up at a local feed store, and I was wondering what the specifics were. Any one have an idea? I want to say its between two and three weeks old.

    Backyard Duck Flocks!

Can you post pics of the foot? If the severity isn't high you might be able to just do Epsom salt and iodine soaks, but sometimes you have to cut the infection out - which in my opinion is much more suited for a aviary or farm vet instead of doing so at home.

    Backyard Duck Flocks!

It's taking FOREVER, I didn't realize it could take so long to heal bumblefoot! My birds never had it, so this is kind of new territory to me.

    Beginner help!!

First and foremost, this is the chicken section. Theres a duck section as well, so you might browse and get some info from there. I've raised two separate flocks of ducklings to adulthood and I never once used yeast. I also did not provide grit. I only give my chickens extra calcium, in the...

    Backyard Duck Flocks!

Just moved back in with my mom and I'm currently treating her small flock for bumblefoot, unfortunately she didnt realize that ducks could get it. She thought it was a chickens-only problem. So after they're healed up we'll post and show you the babes!
