this forum is well build up and its members are mature , nice and respectfull and a lot of them very experienced , people can learn every day from eachother and this a great place to do so
born and raised with eye for detail , always been living in small towns where a lot of nature had to be treated with the most respect , wether it is small or huge . Poultry came because our dad builded EVERYthing with his own two hands to suit our needs , including a barn with animals and vegetables in our big yard ,always surrounded by the old(er) farmers from " back in the days " I learned to manage to live of the land after our dad passed away suddenly on age of 50. my siblings have chosen the most modern living,I decided to live the simple life by growing food and included animals. I moved but in the contract it was a big clapper if I read " no big livestock" , altough I assume chickens are not a part of that so I raise chickens and let them free range as much as possible . At the moment spending all money and time on the costs for the rehoming of ex battery hens , including ex batts that will be rehomed here at my place to give them the opportunity to be my soon to be new flock that provides the same as any heritagebreeds and once they have recovered fully planning a mixed flock including heritagebreeds, with respect for every animal and equally devided care and attention!
