So, it's been a while since I posted. We regularly talk about how the chicken coop was easily the best project we've done.
Our coop has held up really well and has been virtually zero maintenance other than the "burden" of having to collect eggs every day. :)
We built our coop during the...
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but just wanted to chime in that we use wood chips. There are a number of tree services that we would get on their "list" for free wood chip deliveries, but now they all have moved over to using an app called Chip Drop. https://getchipdrop.com/ so, begrudgingly we...
I put them in my coop, but my flock just moved in this week, so I don’t have much to say other than I like the look and the concept. I plan on taking them out and hosing them down if they get too dirty.

I wished I had a kit I could have assembled, but no, it was a big pile of lumber on my porch before it got turned into this! Definitely the most involved structure I've ever built. Even though it was a lot of fun do to, I don't know that I'd want to do it again anytime soon! :D
Hi! We’re new to raising chickens, but have wanted to raise them for a long time now and the pandemic finally gave us the kick in the pants to do it (along with everyone else these days it seems).
We’ve got 10 lovely ladies that we’ve been raising from chicks. Today they are coming up on 7...
