Someone has offered us a trio of fully-grown geese, we're supposed to go pick them up tomorrow. What should I know about bringing fully-grown animals around? So far I've only ever raised chicks or ducklings, so we've never had a problem confining them.

I have Ducklings and Chicks, the same age. About 2 1/2 weeks old now. The chicks already have most of their little wings feathers and are getting lots of feathers on their bodies, but the ducklings are nothing but down. Is this normal?
Here is my dilemma:
Should I get a small flock of Nankins, or purchase an incubator? (I would like to hatch duck and chicken eggs.)
So far, my thoughts are that if I got Nankins, (I'm thinking 6 or 8 hens and a rooster) they would have their own small coop and would have occasional access...
Wow! That is quite a size difference for only two weeks! (At least this gal thinks so, but she's only raised chickens.) I can't wait to watch my ducklings grow. :)
What's the difference in Pekins and Fawn and White Runners? I have 5 yellow chicks, 2 of which are fat and round and fluffy (I think these are Pekins) and three of which are frequently standing up very straight and tall just like a pencil( which I think are Runners.) But never having been...
