I haven't been here in a while but I've been thinking about everybody.
Fun news from our house is that our australop rooster died :(, and somehow a silky rooster fertilized our australop hen believe it or not. Then that little huzzy hid in the chicken coop and hatched out three of the ugliest...
The hen runs around and is fluffed up when he comes around. He will attack her by pecking (not spurring) when she gets too close.
I put him in jail for 4 days, then let him out thinking he would stop.
She doesnt seem to be broody, as she has not stopped, and is not trying to sit eggs. I have...
This is what im wondering about. Its possible.
This last one, I suspected immediately that there would be a problem, cause when I gave it to the chick, it didn't move its tongue up and down fast, like the others have. I suspected it was gonna choke, but it was too late.

The first 2 died hours after hatching.
This is the first one to die after the initial hatch.
They are on medicated feed.
I have had 3 weak chicks recently. I have been using a eye dropper to "help" them get water.
I raise their beak, and drop 4-6 drops of water on their beak. I cant get one to live.
They were weak either after hatching, or the one just now, it was 3 days old or so. It got weak, and was...
