Thank you! I'll have to check them out and see which color their skin is. Would they have dot/no dot for sexing like the sapphire gems do if that's what they are?
We had a broody hatch out some babies. Now we're playing who's the mom haha. The dad is a red bantam Cochin. Mom options are sapphire gem, lavender orpington, buff orpington, and Rhode island red, and a gold and blue laced Wyandotte. The chicks are black with a bit of yellow (I'll take pics...
That was about the best I could get my phone doesn't seem to want to take a close up shot of it lol. But I'm fairly certain it's a single comb. It's also a tad bigger than the other bantams but still smaller than a standard chick.
That would be nifty! I've not really seen many calicos in the stores but I love the color/pattern enough that I've been seriously considering ordering some haha
Got these two littles out of a assorted bantam bin. I got d'uccles with them. But these two I'm just not sure what they are for sure. The black has fluff feet.
They're about 8 weeks now I think rough guess lol. The one in the first and middle of second is the one I'm having the touble with. I think I just want it to be a hen lol. I'll attach a pic of the hot mess I know is a boy and then one more of the other possible roo.
Still trying to decide if 2 of our lavs are pullets or cockerels. We have one who we know for sure is a cockerel still iffy on the other two. I think at least 1 is a pullet.
Chicken in pic #1 and middle of pic 2 is in question and the one on the right in the 3rd pic.
