    She has left the roost now. There has been a black watery pooper dooper the last 3 days. I don't know which one is doing it. Some of the girls just started laying eggs this week. The shells are not hard so I have just put out some oyster shell. It's hot and dry out so the group is hiding...

    I have a 15th old hen that is the only one left on the roost out of11. Her wings are droopy. Does this mean that she is sick? What should I do. She was fine yesterday.

    It started with finding out that chickens eat bugs. I don't like bugs. Then I found out that they eat most things that my kids won't eat because it has been around too long. I can't stand things going to waste. Then everyone kept telling me not do it! At 50+ years old, I don't need people...
