One of my chickens growls at me whenever she doesn't like something. It was the first time she saw snow today and she didn't like it so she growled at me and cussed me. When I didn't stop it snowing she stuck her head down & stomped into the covered run shouting and cursing.
Due to the heavy rainfall we've had my lawn is a quagmire with no grass left as the girls have eaten this and scratched up the roots. Any suggestions as to how I can improve what can only be described as a mud bath

I picked up my chickens yesterday. 1 H&N Brown Nick, 1 Speckled Rock, 1 Bovans Nera & 1 BBF. They are settling into the coop at the moment. I was advised to settle them in for a couple of days before letging them out so they know where to go of a night time. :D
