    LOL yes my dad WILL help me, however I'm 31 and have a home of my own :p I asked his opinion on amount of chicks because he was a farm boy.

    have never had a chicken before in my life.....set out to get 6, got talked into 12, and came home with 16.

    haha my husband seems to disagree... hes more like how the heck did you manage this? these chickens are costing me an arm, a leg, and now thumbs?!!!

    Here are some of the chicks I got. Do notice the stitches on my thumb, as I nearly amputated it building their brooder the day I brought them home. I literally have put my blood sweat and tears into these lil chicks and Ive only had them 3 days :)
