I needed to provide some shade sources so I've planted grasses, sedum, butterfly bush and crepe myrtle so far in the chicken yard, set a ring of bricks closely around the bases and removed the temporary fencing. The chickens cannot scratch at the base of these new plantings and unearth them. But...- SunflowerMary

I'm new to ducks so just learning but thought I'd share what I'm doing to try and make the whole process a bit easier and less costly.
