Okay, husband's opinion is that Marge/Margareta is a good name for a Mercury, "Margareta the Mercury Grand Marquise".
In the end it's my car, but I know he's going to put a stink up about it. 🤣 Which is fine, because if he likes it too, he'll call her by it, which is entertaining to me.
He...
I do think the Marigold/Marge/Margareta sounds great with the Barbarossa. Marge for short, one of the others for when it's more serious. I agree that Margareta seems to fit the naming scheme we have around here. Marge/Margareta... We will try it and see how it goes.
Well, if hubby weren't doing a project already, we might consider some more serious swaps.
He's is in the process of putting a 5.7 V8 LS into a '93(?) manual S10. Originally, that engine was going to go into an '04 Town Car, but he sold her after the coolant fiasco with mine.
But yes, she is a very lovely car, a boat to ride, even though we stiffened up her body roll and gave her a tune that made the gear shifts a little rougher. Still "luxury".

Use 1/8 cup (or 2 tablespoons) of distilled water
1/16 cup (or 1 tablespoon) Castile Soap
5 drops tea tree essential oil
5 drops peppermint...

It has come to my attention that I should totally definitely name my car.
"She" is an '03 gold Lincoln Town Car in good condition. Husband has dumped a good bit of time and money into improving her handling (throttle body, sway bars, Marty Tune etc). She is technically my first car. Our...
Has anyone ever been to the Wright Patterson National Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH? Since I grew up in that half of the state, I got to go a few times. It was actually where I got engaged and where we had our first date, lol!
They've got the Memphis Bell there, which is for sure one of my...
