Okay, so I actually got to go drive a V6, when the one we were eyeing was a V8 Pursuit. I had a lot of fun. Much more horsepower.
Husband is partial against the Lincoln because of certain Ford design choices that make it a nightmare to work on.
Design choices that got him a full face of coolant in December, fifteen minutes over the sink with water shooting in his mouth, and me shoving ten pills of activated charcoal down his throat.

But yes, she is a very lovely car, a boat to ride, even though we stiffened up her body roll and gave her a tune that made the gear shifts a little rougher. Still "luxury".

QUESTION
It has come to my attention that I should totally definitely name my car.
"She" is an '03 gold Lincoln Town Car in good condition. Husband has dumped a good bit of time and money into improving her handling (throttle body, sway bars, Marty Tune etc). She is technically my first car. Our other main vehicle, a big red Yukon, is named Barbarossa.
Anyhoos, I'm really not sure what direction to go in naming her, but I figure after a year of owning her, she deserves one.
She's a "luxury vehicle", but has a sizeable V8 engine. Has some spit to her due to the upgrades, despite her lowly 240hp.

Goldie.
Precious
Ramoth (Gold Dragon from Dragonriders of Pern series)
Aurelia (aurum is latin for gold)
Marigold
Aurora (again a play on aurum)
Xanthe (goddess of autumn, personified and associated with the golden yellow foliage of fall)

See, what you need to do is swap that motor for a Coyote and a Whipple.

I named my silkie Greta, which means "pearl". Margareta is the long form of that name, and I think it pairs nicely with Barbarossa.
