    Broken Chicken Beak

I have cut off the cracked part and it doesn't seem that she has any issues eating and drinking, and it looks like the tip might heal it self and I will file it down to maintain its shape. Thank you so much for your help!

    Broken Chicken Beak

Are you sure that'd be safe? Because every time we touch the chipped beak, she opens her mouth in pain and it hurts her. It does look like it's chipped after the quick but would her beak heal gradually afterwards and would it cause any serious issue?

    NECK SEIZURES IN CHICKS

I do think it is neurological, because she is VERY afraid, compared to the others, and does it everytime we keep her in the same coop as the others. I am planning to get her Vitamin E400 IU

Can I put 2 broody hens in together?

They might/can fight over eggs. Seperate them with sufficient water and feed. Make sure the feed and water bowls are at a low level so the newly hatched chicks can reach them.

Will we need to provide supplemental heat for hen and chicks?

Could be lack of nutrition of may be too cold. But then again, the mamma hen should be able to provide sufficient heat? Keep monitoring the babies :)) <33

    Malnourished chicks!! One DEAD, help!

Give it some warmth, since it is a necessity for new chicks. Since her friend isnt there to provide her heat, you can keep a warm water bottle and a stuffed toy next to her to get sufficient heat from. When the new batch arrives, make sure that they dont peck at the crop. Take away food for some...

    NECK SEIZURES IN CHICKS

So, I have seperated them, as the situation might only worsen if I keep them in the same coop as the others. The condition is worser in the brown chick (the one who i posted a picture about). Continuing to give him his Bio Vitamin medicine drops (contains Vitamin A, D, C, B1 and B12 supplements)
