I'm sorry to say that three pullets of mine came down with respiratory illness symptoms, killing two of the three. Gaping, respiratory difficulties, congested, sneezing. I was able to start two of them on Tylan. I was too late with one, but the third pullet seems to be getting slowly better...

If you have used wheat fodder for the colder months ahead, did your flocks take to be it immediately or did they have to warm up to it. I just put out my first batch, and our flock was a bit skiddish to it.
Bought a white pullet back in June of this year. Has always been very independent and a bit of an odd ball. I want to think white leghorn but bought it at local store (Atwoods). So what do you all think. Nice yellow legs, medium red comb, but has a very small splash of black feathers not very...
Thank you for your reply and warm welcome. She is about 3-4 months old. It is surely bantam sized. Here is a shot of the comb. Gray farms on this site believes it is a silver winged old English game bantam.
