What are Red Sexlinks and Black Sexlinks

I agree morally. However, I don't know if I even want to get pullets from him at this point. I raised my flock organically and I know that he doesn't. I guess it comes down to whether I want non-organic pullets. As far as keeping them...I will only keep one for protection. I would rather have...

    Leg mites- nooooooooo!

As a preventative...sprinkle diotomaceous [sp] earth all around the outside and inside of the coop. I did this to attack an infestation of ants and it seemed to work. The packaging says it will take care of all kinds of creepy, crawly stuff. If you get "food grade" quality, you can feed it too...

What are Red Sexlinks and Black Sexlinks

Thanks again everyone for the expertise and pics. They were VERY helpful. I am still in a dilemma as to how to procede from here. What are your thoughts: 1) try to sell them (Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Maine area) and how much could I get for organic, free range Red Crossed Cockerels? I can't...

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! To answer one of the questions...I will only keep one. Does anyone know a place in Massachusetts/New Hampshire line that would buy roosters? They are 100% organic and free range.

What are Red Sexlinks and Black Sexlinks

Thank you for the info. I am a bit confused. I bought the day-olds from a breeder the Red Sexlinks were buff and red in color. He said he took out the white ones. However, 12 weeks later, they are most definitely cockerels. Any ideas on why this might be the case? And, what do I do about it...

What are Red Sexlinks and Black Sexlinks

What are Red Sexlinks and Black Sexlinks? How do you tell if they are pullets or roos when they are still chicks? I have 9 chickens (12 weeks old) and it is obvious that I have 4 roos. Finally, how can I sell organicly raised roos on byc?
