Finally got my first egg from one of my white rock girls! I’m So proud of her! Lol. The feeling of starting a chicken from an egg and then it finally laying an egg herself is such a rewarding thing.
Easter egger Chicken was favoring her one foot sort of standing like a flamingo. Went in and picked her up (which she’s the skidding on and never lets me do) with ease. Looking a bit closer I noticed she has damaged scales and some bleeding on the bottoms of her feet. What is it and what should...
I have one bantam and one standard Plymouth white rock cockerels although the standard one doesn’t crow or anything. I have 11 pullers plus two more pullets I have been putting off introducing to the flock because I’m stressed about the girls being violent towards each other.
Sounds vicious.. so what would you suggest just watching out for obvious injury and letting them do there thing or what? Lol. Nothing like your first rodeo. 🤣🤣
The two are speckled Sussex the one is a black bantam Cochin they are always together and never leave each other’s sides .. they’re maybe 10-12 weeks old.
