    Hey. I've never come across this issue before.. I have a year old sex-link who looks lethargic, when I went to examine her I noticed her crop looks very high. I can't actually tell if it's her crop or if her throat is swollen.. she's currently laying down in the yard away from the other birds...

    Hello & welcome. I haven't had issues with snakes. Are they large? If you have a nice secure coop with appropriate hardware cloth the racoons shouldn't be an issue. I have lots of predators (coyotes, racoons, hawks, mink) none have ever got a taste of chicken from our homestead. Best of luck!
