    Good morning. I got a couple of hints from someone who a couple of hints from someone who couldn't keep them anymore and I'm noy sure what the breed is if anyone could help me identify them I would appreciate it. As you can see, they are very friendly 🤣

    Yes I made sure it was calibrated before I set the eggs. It was more curiosity than worry!

    Hello, I am just curious as to what other people get as a typical hatch rate for your Silver Laced Wyandotte eggs? I have 20 in the incubator but 5 of those are older and I don't expect them to hatch (but I'm hoping, they're from the hen I lost to a bobcat).

    Me too, these two eggs were late additions by someone sneaking in while mama was off dust bathing. I didn't remove them at first because it was hard to tell which were newer by the time I realized she was sitting on more and they were already developing.

    We had a mishap and my hen that was sitting on 10 eggs went to the wrong box for too long, we lost 8 eggs.     I'm so excited we got our first egg this morning 😭😭😭 My girls are 19 weeks old and it's the 19 week anniversary of the day we picked them up from the post office. My flock is all (hatchery) Silver Laced Wyandottes.
