    My initial call was to animal control ( turns out it's the same number to police station) and a police officer showed up. I did put an email into the head of animal control last night. Just waiting for a reply.

    There was no police report because the officer who responded that this was a civil matter. I lost 1 bird and I have another bird who was injured.     Thank you. I keep getting messages from locals saying this dog is always getting loose. Now that it has tasted my girl blood, i know it will be back.. I won't be able to sleep tonight.

    I've heard the dog is notorious for getting loose. I'm concerned it will come back and kill the rest of my pack.. I was told to contact my home owners insurance company and atart a claim. They will go after the owner of the dog.

    Thank you! The only real issues i have with them is Batman (my RIR) likes to bite, and none of the chicks like going in their coop at night.. So we have to chase them around until they go in..
