The book I have (Free Range Chicken Gardens) lists honeysuckle as poisonous. But it doesnt specify between the flowers and leaves.
Some others commonly found in gardens are daffodils, hydrangea and tulips.
That's a good question and I'd like to know the answer too. I was told under eight weeks to only feed chick starter and only feed "treats" sparingly but for a mature bird would a diet made up mostly of scraps be okay?
Thanks Kelly. I should have mentioned we're only planning keeping 4 chicks, the rest are going back to my friend with the farm. Although last night the Mrs. mentioned she might want to keep 8 instead of 4 so it could be back to the drawing board.
