    Depluming Mites And How To Treat Hens???

    My chickens have depluming mites, i bought some ivermectin pour on but do not the dosage to give them? Drops? Or squirts of it in Milligram? I have read 6 drops average hen, or 3 milligram, average hen.......doesn't make sense. As 1 ml = 20 drops! Help Please and Thank you.

    Wow, haven't seen one of these before, but it should be just fine, and have great balance! With her vent to the side though, she might have other internal deformities and never lay eggs. Sure hope it is not a cockerel, poor hens! This is very rare, but has happened before.

    Which breeds have you had good egg production from?

    I sell eggs and usually have about 12 -15 hens, I have had many different breeds, Love the RIR eggs, but not their mean manners, to me and the other girls. So then, I really like the Plymouth Barred Rock hens. A sweet bird, with a nice light brown big egg! Sometime go broody.

    I believe you both should wear a mask, like the M-95 ones, for even being in there 10 minutes! And for SURE when you clean the coop out. The illness is horrible.
