I'm not sure what to use either. I have heard to use contracters sand (i think is th name) because it has little pebbles in it to help digest their food. Or can I just use play sand. We have a grass and a little spot of dirt, thanks to the chicks.

I have at least one girl who has runny poo. Is this a sign that something is wrong or does she just need more "treats" that are hign in protein etc. She seems to be doing fine other then this little problem.

Hi, I have had chicks now for only 3 weeks and do not know much about them. Do all chicks have yellow feet and legs for can some be different colors like blue/green and of course yellow color. The ones with the blue/green color seem to be eating and drinking fine.

We have only had our chicks for 2 weeks so they are still in a big box in the basement. Is their any easy way to clean up ALL the poop??? This is our first time owning chicks and we don't know anything about these little gals so any help would be helpfull.
