Mine are only 3 weeks so they're still confined to our 4'x10' coop. When we do let them loose, we plan to keep most in an enclosed pen and just let a few free range each day at first.
After I bought a few of these boxes, I saw something similar at TSC but they wanted $28 a piece. Walmart organizers work great, are cheap, and make things easier.

Michael headed out to do errands but came right back in to tell me, "one of the keets sounds really loud". He usually doesn't have much to do with them. He just agreed to get them because, well he gives me what I want. :) so I go out there to check on them, make sure none are loose. I found 6...
Thanks so much. Now that they're older (3 weeks tomorrow) you can see a bluish lavender tint to some of the light ones. My 7yo niece was so excited when she saw that.
The top ones are my favorite. Later I'll try to post some more recent pics. They are 2.5 weeks now, growing feathers and getting polka dots. This being my first experience with birds, I have no idea what varieties they are but it's neat watching them change daily.
My friend has a brother in Lawrence. She said he could pick them up for us. I'll pass your number on to him. Thank you very much. My children will be excited to see our flock grow.
