Aren't these adorable! Such a new thing for me but I'm loving it. These were 2 days old at the time. Part of my variety from mcmurray's.

The top ones are my favorite. Later I'll try to post some more recent pics. They are 2.5 weeks now, growing feathers and getting polka dots. This being my first experience with birds, I have no idea what varieties they are but it's neat watching them change daily.

I think I have royal purple and lavender. Not sure what the others are. My son is super excited about the purple. That's what he was hoping for.

Can someone tell me what colors these will be? Please and thank you.

You have some adorable keets there and quite the variety! We've been raising guineas for 8 years and just adore them. It looks like to me that you are right-the first is a purple, the next looks like a buff to me. #3 is a violet, #4 is possible a light lavender, but I can't be possitive, and the last one is a pearl grey. This color chart helps us out a lot in our breeding: http://www.guineafowlinternational.org/colorchart/

The important thing to note is if your guinea has a broad stripe down the middle of it's head and two small stripes on either side, it will be a fully dotted bird as an adult. One that has irregular stripes on its head will be partially dotted, and a keet with no stripes will have no dots :) Hope this helps!

Thanks so much. Now that they're older (3 weeks tomorrow) you can see a bluish lavender tint to some of the light ones. My 7yo niece was so excited when she saw that.
