    She feels the same weight. I would try to drain the abdomen if that was the recommended treatment ? Where would I place the syringe ?

    7 yr old lethargic Sussex

    I have a seven-year-old Sussex . Two days ago we noticed she was walking very slow . She has green loose stool and is barely eating . She seems very thin and her right wing is drooping . could it be old age ? What can I do besides electrolytes .

    Hi, starting my new member introduction with "help" ! I have had chickens for seven years.

    One of my first and favorite chickens a Sussex named "Dottie " is sick. Could this be old age illness? She's been moving pretty slow, we brought her inside a day ago and she's barely eating closing her eyes often, sleeping a lot . Watery greenish feces, thin, right wing is drooping . :(...
