    You need a Great Pyranees or any livestock guardian breed. Mine patrols the perimeter of our yard and I’ve never lost a chicken (knock on wood). She loves all of our animals and people. She is very sweet but sounds intimidating enough to keep stuff out of the yard. I live in the country...

    Hahahaha, we’ll I started with four hens and one was a rooster 🤣 we wanted more eggs to share with friends and family sooooo somehow 17 became the perfect number lol. Chicken math is hard but I currently only have three laying. The rest are still freeloading 🐓🐣😂

    But now that you mention it. One of the chicks that hatched with it had one leg that was like that. I thought it was because it took almost three days to hatch and had one foot hung up in the membrane. I had to assist it. It did ok for about a week then passed.
