Yes, I did B. Oh really? So I should put her back with the others? There is nothing in her eyes or mouth. I will continue to monitor it hourly. Thank you for the help.
Yes, I agree with @sourland. Do not put the chicken down! I myself have a scissor beak chicken for years now and she is living a perfectly healthy life! Some Chickens get it. This is mine,
Thank you for the help!
I just noticed yesterday. I don't think that it has been there for very long I go down to the chicken coop everyday for a long time and yesterday was the first time I've seen it.
@Kiki
No a vet is not an option.
Well, yes we let one of our broody hen hatch some chicks last month but, I don't think that they are the cause.
And this is the fist time. I've never had this in my flock. Never seen anything close to this before.
Has anyone heard of respiratory disease in hens? One of my hens has a bump between her eye and beak and I heard that that might be a sign. If anyone has any info please share!! - :confused:
She is acting normal no suspicious behaviour. I've only noticed that bump on her face. Yes, I've heard of fowlpox but, I don't think that this is it.... she doesn't have any scabs, and she is still laying daily . :confused:
