Ducklings sick - help, please
My indian runner is doing the same thing-newbie to poultry and Defidently new to duckling-singular. Kitty is in with some chicks of the same age. Water is elevated to keep debri out of it but accessible. Am I suppose to have a small bowl for her to dip her head in? I worried about the chicks... -
Week old pekin duckling sits a lot
I wish I could share some wisdom and knowledge but only agree with the same observations as both of you. I have one indian runner and she crawls up to the back of my neck and lays, moves, lays, walks about the house and lays. Then in her brooder she drinks a sip and lays down.....like it's... -

Chicks and oyster shells
Do you give them oyster shell prior laying it wait until after an egg has been discovered? Mine are 12-13 weeks and I just put golf balls in the nest as I notice they are being explores.- tblystone

Free ranging and laying...
Sorry to but in but I am new to this and I have 4 (suspecting 1 o be a rooster as he sounds squeaky and squacky in the AM but not a mature crow. It's really quite funny.....sadly to say, he is my favorite one too:( anyhow, I would say mine are about 3 months-I just put golf balls in next today...- tblystone
