    Hi everyone, As my first try at incubating, I bought 3 Auracana and 3 Olive Egger eggs. The supplier doesn't know whether they were laid on Jul 5 or Jul 8. When should I do a lockdown? None of my incubator is transparent so I can't see what's happening without opening the top. Thanks for any advice.

    Thanks. We have 3 RIR who all look identical, but Beatrix looks nothing like them - very different color and completely different build. Possibly some mixture?

    Hi everyone, The dark one is completely black, to the extent that her feathers have a blue sheen in the light. I was told the light one is a Silver Sussex. Beyond that I'm clueless! Thanks for the help.

    Hi everyone, I'm posting 3 pictures of my 14 week old chickens. I'm fairly certain that I have a Brahma and a Rhode Island Red, but don't know what the gray one is with a very fluffy moustache! Can anyone definitely identify them and tell me whether hens or roosters please? Thanks!

    No rooster. Coop is very clean. All the others are absolutely fine. I will definitely keep an eye on her - thanks for the suggestion to dust for bugs.
