    Deep litter question!

I use Hemp for my hen house and it’s works great for me. I live in the San Antonio, TX area and its been over 100 degrees for over a week and the hemp bedding is not generating heat at all.

Heat Illness and Drinking Lot of Water

Yes, she is only drinking Corid. I did give her a oral dose .3 mil of the Corid, she only weighs 3 pounds. Thank you for the recommendation, however, is this specifically just for fish?

Really, I had no idea? I am watering the grass to keep them cool. Should I not water the grass?

Heat Illness and Drinking Lot of Water

I literally just finished giving her a dose of Corid orally and is now in her drinking water. I am also treating the others with Corid in the water. I do not know if it will help, but I am giving it a shot. She is still lethargic, runny poop with some blood, refuses to eat and has a runny crop.

Yes she and the rest of the hens are on save a chick. She had some runny poop with a little blood in it. She does have some symptoms of Coccidiosis so I am treating her with Corid just in case. Perhaps that will help? She refuses to eat

    Help sexing Barred Rock?

Good afternoon chicken lovers ❤️. What I have and believe is a barred rock who is approximately 8 weeks old. I keep going back and forth if it’s a pullet or cockerel. This chick is so friendly and does not mind me picking her/him up. Can anyone help and is it to early to determine?

Still Have Concerns - Constipation and Swollen Vents

Good morning and thank you for your post. Emma is 10 weeks now and is doing very good and no more vent problems. She is still about half the size as my other chickens and her wings on her back end are maturing very slow. Hoping over time she will catch up with the others.
