Most of us don't have what people would consider the best, but there aren't many bad dslr's these days. Lenses make a huge difference, but even they aren't the biggest factor. The most important component is the photographer... and lots of practice. But practice is the fun part.

My brother's neighborhood has deer everywhere. We went to visit last summer, and I was in heaven. :)
@ waddles99 I'm with you there. I've been too busy to take pictures for a while. Sad thing is, photography is exactly what I need to clear my head and relax.... Maybe soon.

Hello! I'm on the opposite side of the state from you - a couple hours east of Dallas. It's great your boys have taken to the chickens. Mine never seemed to care either way. But I think they secretly liked them. Lol
Thank you WyandotteIndeed. Yes, my girl looks like pic #2. Pages been here two days now, and seems to be doing really well. She has to turn her head sideways a lot, and got a leaf stuck on her beak when she was pecking at breakfast this morning. But she really is doing well.
