I have seen alot about red shoulders and broken patterns I'm wondering if I should be worried about the runt being a roo. I thought it is a hen because at now over 10 weeks there is almost no comb and no color at all also a very round fanned tail. This is what she currently looks like.
Thank you for all the replies
I have my fingers crossed. I'm really hoping there is no surprise with her but I really think she a girl. She's just not as obvious as her sister's have been the whole time.
Chicks are 10 weeks and pretty soon the roosters are going to their new home. So I really want to make 100 % sure they are roos. These are the three that dont crow but I'm pretty darn sure are roosters but whould love options and the last is my little question mark chick.
Rooster 1
Rooster 2...
Of the boys do any look like they at all could be pullets they are going to their new home soon so I want to be sure. I will attach pics of the 3 that have not crowed yet sorry the bottom two look the same they are 10 weeks old now.
This is the little ?? One that still confuses me still very...
Yeah there seems to be somthing about #2 the color and tail dont looks like the girls to me but its comb is nothing compared to the boys. I think it is just going to keep me guessing lol.
She hatched them in the yard and would not leave their side so we were able to slip a quick homemade brooding cage over her and the chicks. She managed to keep all 11 alive and well for about a week before we were able to get them.
I was looking at some of the game and jungle fowls that I thought looked alot like her and she is such a strong pertective brooder I think she might have some. She did manage to survive, hatch chicks and keep them all alive by herself before we took her in.
