Came from my cackle surprise box, I think he’s a rooster as he’s more aggressive then most the other chicks. No idea on Bree but he’s huge and almost hawkish looking.

Anyone know breed or sex?

Our babies arrived this morning!!! We got 61 live babies!! 1DOA. Including 2 ducks and 2 turkeys. We’re newbies so the only other things we can ID are two Naked necks, four polish, and four silver laced wyandotte.

I definitely wouldn’t put her down if she doesn’t seem to be in any pain. I had this happen to a batch of chicks I got from Atwood’s. One wasn’t growing barely at all. Every day I would expect to find it dead, turned out to be a very small sweet sultan. Just keep her fed and hope for the best maybe?

Thank you! Right now in their run, about 1/8 of it is bamboo and the sure do love relaxing in there when it’s funny and one girl likes to hide her eggs in there too. I’ll check out mulberry trees!! Those sound great for them!!

Oh okay thank y’all. I’ve been waiting to go outside and find her for dead as I didn’t think she was thriving. I got her from a bin at Atwood’s and the rest were all regular sized chickens.

Are sultans smaller chickens?
