    Antibiotics for chickens - suggestions?

As of Jan. 1, 2017 law requires a prescription for it. As such, none if our feed stores carry it anymore. From what I understand any antibiotic administered orally or on feed is covered under that law. Tetracycline works great for blue comb and mycoplasms.

Is this goat supposed to look like that?

Looks like to me the bottom line before a purchase should be testing for Johnes and cae as well. Just a thought. I know there are many goats(and other ruminants) that are bought with the thought of getting them back in shape, but that doesn't happen because they are sick with johnes. Testing...

Washing eggs before storing them to eat?

I don't wash ours, but selling the eggs to townies I sometimes need to clean them up a bit. I polish them(when needed) with dry baking soda. Hope that isn't a problem.

    Pasteurizing Milk

I understand the bangs and tb deal. Have her tested. Then you can feel comfortable with the kids drinking her raw milk. It's true many infants would die without goats milk, but I don't know if they have it pasturized. I think Tb and bangs is the main reason for pasturizing other than a hoof...
