Hi all. I have been a.city girl.for about 5 of the last 40 years, and this month I finally got back to the land. I have icelandic sheep, some meat rabbits, a couple piglets, and of course chickens. I'm hoping to put some.waterfowl eggs in my incubator soon to expand the flock.

In my experience, a sow's udder will "cone up" just prior to farrowing. Your girl could just be gaining weight and going into heat. ..have you seen her cycle yet? I think it's every 21 days or so. If you're not sure, scratch her back just above her tail. If she's in heat, she'll arch jer back...
