    I took a closer look, and strangely, the feathers are not pulled out. They look like they are cut off about 1/2" out from the skin. Very nice, even, blunt ends. I put a saddle on him that will cover part of the area. Would this be from the hen or from himself? I did not notice anything like this...

    My Ameracauna rooster has lost an area of feathering in front of his tail feathers. The tail feathers are fine, and most of his body is fine.     Does anyone else have an opinion? Is there a page somewhere with pictures of chicks by breed? I find pages of adults, but have not seen a page for chicks.

    I read through a bunch of posts in this section, and I think the two with a lot of white might be Australorps, which would be great! I have had Australorps before and really liked their temperament. Wondering if the ones with the stars on their heads might be Barred Rocks?
