Thank you so much for that protein tip! I'll make sure her feed has more protein. We have her inside for now where I can keep an eye on her recovery till we get that other area for her setup. She is no longer bleeding and I already see feathers growing back hopefully with the more protein she...

Duckling attacked by our older male duck

yea I might wait to put her back with the rest till she's a bit bigger and fully recovered. I have a theory that our drake attacked her because she was still young enough to be considered a duckling to him rather than a partner and knew she wasn't his child so took her as a threat to his...

    Duckling attacked by a chicken??

Alright, tyy! I got a few things of neosporin luckily on hand. I also have large gause pads that might be able to cover her back. Though last time I tried covering a injury for her she just pulled it right off.

    Duckling attacked by a chicken??

I found my ducks back and wings plucked out again and bleeding. This time though our drake wasnt the cause of it because we separated him from the flock recently to avoid this from happening again but after 4 days without the drake one of our chickens decided to pick on our newest duck...

Our drake was abusing out pekin while she is recovering?!

Yea I'm trying to think of what to do but He is my sisters duck so in the end it's up to her what we do with him. I mean he can be nice and calm but when I'm not around he gets aggressive at some point and keeps it up. I'm more surprised he got this aggressive with our pekin since they grew up...
