    The only one's I have that are on your list are the Barred Rocks. My girls are very sweet but little on the shy side. I love them!

    5 from 8 hens.... the most we've had yet! Our girls are almost 6 months old. We also got our 1st green egg today!! Fun egg day all around!

    One of our Easter Eggers (either Edith or Edna) laid this beautiful egg today! It's a very pretty light bluish green color. It looks a little more blue in the pic than it actually is. Today was also the first time we got 5 eggs in one day! (we have 8 almost 6 month old hens) I LOVE my girls!

    I will be lining the inside of the coop which is all pressure treated wood and is raised about 2ft off the ground. And you're correct, it's so I can periodically spray the whole thing down.. we were going to put a drain plug in (like in a boat) for when I do the cleaning.
