  • Hello, I am looking for some mandarin and wood ducks and everyone mentions you so thought I would take a chance and see if you had any to sell.
If you dont mind me asking, where did you source your birds from? Im especially interested about your Demetri Impeyan Pheasant, so pretty.

I raised most of them but my breeders were from several friends. If your interested I can put you on my 2021 list or get you their numbers

Thanks for the follow! You know a lot about migratory birds in captivity and I have one. I've been learning all I can on care/management. You seem so knowledgeable so I thought I should follow you. :)
Would Purina Flockraiser be an ok feed for my woodie hen?
I'm trying to find her a friend but haven't had much luck.
Any other tips for caring for a hen Wood Duck?

Yes flock raiser or all flock is what I feed. Is she tame? I have some extra drakes but they are not tame. They come a couple feet away from me for treats so I wouldn’t exactly call them wild

My girl is very tame. Her name is Violet. I got her young, so that's probably part of it. She is currently on the FR but wouldn't eat the Purina duck pellets.
Haha! Woodies are so cool. I'll PM you a pic of my girl.
I see you’re a taxidermist! A great one to! I have a question about how to display my mummified snake. You can find my thread on it if you’d like, but long story short, I have a mummified Ball Python which I found behind my dad’s car door panel. Since it is smaller, it fits in a jar, but I don’t like how I can’t see through the mason jar glass well.

Anyway, I’m wondering how I can display my snake mummy, in a way where it is well sealed and not exposed to moisture or any bacteria’s. I don’t know if you know anything about this, but as a taxidermist, I assume you know a thing or two about preservation! (Also when/if I handle it, do I need to be gloved?)
