What are the genders of these chicks?

Thanks for all of the replies! I forgot to add that they are 2 months old. :D Darn! I was hoping that they were pullets, although their coloring did look a little too dark. :th I would love to keep them but unfortunately I don't have anymore space for anymore roosters. :(

What are the genders of these chicks?

What is wrong with this chick?

His poop looked normal when I saw it. I am feeding Purina Medicated chick starter feed. I do have Corid. Is it ok to give Corid in water when you are already feeding medicated? I heard that the feed does not have enough to overdose, but I just want to make sure.

What is wrong with this chick?

Hi, I have an about 2 1/2 week old chick that has started to look unwell today. All of my chicks including this one were fine until today, when I found him lying down on his legs, unable to stand or walk. I have him in a set up, in case it is splay leg and so he is sitting up. Does this be...

    Show worthy?

You should be able to show a cross bred or an unrecognized breed, depending on where you are at. I would try and find the rules online. :)

Other options for keeping chicks warm other than using a heat lamp?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any other options for keeping chicks warm using something other than a heat lamp? I have been doing some research, and was considering a seedling plant mat? Those say they are waterproof, and they sound like they might work. Or chick heating plates like this...

Comment by 'TheBantyShanty' in article 'How to treat sour crop and impacted crop and how to know which one you're dealing with'

They can't physically vomit, but they can cough up clear liquid, usually only when they have sour crop.

    Looking for a bantam... suggestions?

Sebrights are a cool breed, although they can be a little flighty at times. I would recommend bantam Cochins! Those come in many colors and are so cute and fluffy! They seem like a pretty docile breed in general.
