hey guys, my neighbors have 4 to many roosters and they would like me to kill them for them, they clean them they just can't actually kill it. I don't have a sharp hatchet, but could a machete work? also I have heard of ringing its neck, but that seems like it won't work 100 percent of the time...
so when I bought these chickens I picked them out. They were 4 months old so I thought I picked all hens. But as it happens I have 2 that are for sure roosters, and one I’m not sure, he had the long neck feathers but no droopy tail feathers. He is the one on the right. What is it?
ok, so. My chickens will be 1 year old this April. They just started laying about 5 weeks ago. I have 9 hens and at first I only got 1 or 2 a day. Then I got 7. And it has veried between 6 - 7 eggs a day every day since then. And all of a sudden, one day earlier this week, I got only 2 eggs...

actually that gives me a great idea. my nesting boxes are about 3 feet up and connected to the wall. they are maybe 2 foot out so if I fence that off she can live in there for a week or so. just need to give her her own waterer. or use the one she's using currently
