    They are having fun. If some seems to be getting pushy they will probably be roosters . They get that way at a early age.

    Depending on the breed, most start laying at 5 to 6 month old. Lip would be good to hold straw.

    Hatchery chicks have to vaccinated home don't as long as you keep them if they are witnin a week or two mix them it won't hurt.

    No,It's not marek's, Some chicks aren't meant to hatch due to whatever.Any time you help a chick hatch it usually don't make it. You know the saying only the strong survie. Private flock it's not necessary. No, No,........

    Move them a soon as they walk, and dry, it won't hurt the rest of them.

    First problem, It shouldn't take 3 or 4 nights to do it. Make sure it plenty dark enough.I did my rooster that way. Second problem, Put a single nest box on the ground with the golf balls get her use to using it then take it away.

    Keeping the feeder full. One chicken can eat a quarter pound of food a day.So it takes alot of food. Feeding them out right every day and missing the same time every time can cause stress which could hurt egg production.

    Keep them away from direct sunlight, it will cause the temp to spike to high hurting your hatch.

    I have 2 of them, follow the instructions that comes with them and you will do fine. I hatch between 90 & 99%.
