I also have two chicks from this combination:
White Silkie Hen (black skin) & White Leg Horn Roo (Yellow skin)
One baby has yellow skin and legs with 4 toes, and the other baby has grayish colored legs and 5 toes.
The dou in question is a Black Silkie/Cochin cross Hen and a White Silkie Roo. All four of her baby chicks are all black (feet and skin remains black and 5 toed)
Does the black color mean they are all Roo’s? Or could I get black hens and roos.
A friend of mine has a bunch of free roaming chickens. Her Silkie hen recently hatched 14 little Babies!
