    Costco, of all places, just started carrying here in Reno for $19.99 for 40 lbs. Costco also sells coops in the store now - BYC has gone pretty mainstream!

    Posted a craigslist ad, and someone already offered to take them all to raise for the crockpot.

    I'll raise them until one crows. Then, it will be time to butcher them. We'll see if the kids are on board. If not, then they may have to go to someone's "farm."
