Is this a partridge silkie ?

Hi and welcome! I’m not as familiar with partridge variances but this is a photo of my partridge silkie (Or what I was told was a partridge). Yours is beautiful either way!

    Fowl pox twice?

I didn't smell anything when I took the photos but I'll try to get closer tonight when I do the betadine. I think I might have chlorhexadine also. Thank you for the advice.

    Fowl pox twice?

Her waterer isn’t sharp but it’s possible she hit some fencing. They like to sneak around to get at the grass outside my yard.

    Fowl pox twice?

Thank you so much! The Copper sulfate seems easiest. Do you know if a plastic/PVC waterer with metal screws presents the same problem? I can buy a plain plastic one if not but my gravity waterer does have metal screws that touch the water.

    Fowl pox twice?

Thank you so much for the information and notification help. I have VetRx and probiotics I can restart them on as well as some antibiotics. I'll start with the former and monitor her. She seems to be fine and acting like herself!

    Fowl pox twice?

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s possible for a chicken to get fowl pox twice. I posted about my hen last year and today she appears to have another white bump on her beak area. I started giving her black pepper again but I’m wondering if it could be something else. Thank you!

Wet and Dry Fowl Pox - Graphic Pictures of Pus and Scabs

Hello, thank you for all of the resources in this thread. I’ve head it through and had a question I didn’t see. My young pullet in the photo recently recovered from dry pox but there’s a large hole on her beak area where the lesion/scab fell off. Is this something I should be concerned about or...

    Hello

Hi, I’m so grateful for the resources in this forum. I’ve had chickens for five years and have had mostly silkies, one Japanese bantam, and one English bantam. I love their different personalities and watching them explore. Other hobbies include textile dyeing with indigo, painting, baking...
