    Jumping in! But far behind it seems... we're only on day 4! 31 eggs of mixed varieties (some blrw, some partridge rocks, some mutts, a turken or two, and a few aracaunas (sp?)) Can't wait to candle and see who's in there!

    thanks for the thought - I may try those in the future! For this year, though, we've already talked about the life cycle of chickens, and made our posters to count down the days until chicks... but I will certainly do some research on quails - they sound fun!
